Inpatient Services

The department provides imaging services 24 hours a day. Its X-ray equipment produces images of the body’s tissues, organs, bones, and blood vessels as ordered by healthcare providers to help diagnose disease or injury.

Procedures may be performed at the patient’s bedside with mobile radiography equipment, in surgical suites using mobile fluoroscopic C-arm units, in the recovery area, or in the Emergency Department. Technical settings are adapted to each patient’s condition while minimizing radiation exposure to patients and personnel.

Outpatient Services

Outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures include X-rays for skeletal, abdominal, chest, genitourinary, and gastrointestinal evaluation. CT and MRI examinations are available for the brain, body, chest, abdomen, extremities, and musculoskeletal system. Ultrasound services include obstetric sonograms.

A prescription from a healthcare provider is required for all procedures.

Patients can learn how imaging procedures are performed, what to expect, and how to prepare at RadiologyInfo.org.
